Using

Prerequisites

• A VM-host has been set up.
• At least one virtual machine has been set up.
• Sherlock.Service is installed on the VM-host and is running (as a service)

Creating the configuration file

• Copy the configuration file from the samples directory. Select the highest version configuration unless there is a really good reason not to. For existing configurations there is no reason to update because Sherlock can read old configurations. Default values will be used for missing settings.
• In the configuration file replace all sections between ${ and }$. The sections need to contain the following information:
• Description
• Environments
• Test steps
• Completed notification

Running the console application

• Run the console application and point it to the right configuration

Getting results

• Wait for the results to show up in the report directory
