Open Compute Project (Facebook project) has asked Ryan to present. They have stated that Power API is their plan going forward. They want plugins for non nodal elements. Chassis and rack level. They have only a power supply in the center of the rack. Maybe simpler for them to implement. It would be generally aggregated. They want power capping most of all. I This may require a new reference implementation.

Ryan wants to get together with the implementors at the companies so he has them before OCP joins. OCP may bring in a lot more people. Ryan will send details on the OCP meetings.

EEHPCWG and Power Stack. Sid presented some slides (slides). Power Stack will start having meetings in Sept with one working group per week and a general meeting for a total of four per month. Sid will send details. Natalie asked if Power Stack wanted to give a presentation to EEHPCWG (700 members). Sid wants to have a round of meetings with Power Stack before talking to all of EEHPCWG.

Action item - please let Ryan know who the implementors are at the organizations.

Natalie - has submitted a paper at IGSC 2018.

Ryan reminds that IGSC 2018 is our F2F and that we can put papers into the meeting still. IGSC Meeting Info

Ryan had interface to report back to resource manager. E.g. GeoPM were the node level tool but it wasn't available. He would like an interface for a way to get back to the resource manager.
