Uploadgig plugin not functioning correctly #3289
Comments
Hi, |
I have sent the credentials to nitzo2001 at yahoo dot com. |
Probably this is because of bad installation and maybe also related to #3288. How exactly did you installed pyload? |
Hi,
I'm using a Zyxel 310 Nas. I installed the 0.4.9zypkg004 from the admin
functions then I used FTP delete the contents of the pyload directory and
replace it with the entire contents of the pyload stable zip I downloaded
from the git repository replacing. The package Zyxel offers for
installation does not have the uploadgig plugin and the update manager does
not work. I've tried just replacing the update manager but then got a
series of errors involving various dependencies.
Any ideas how I can fix this? I had it working for years and then one day
the Uploadgig plugin stopped recognizing my account. I am guessing there
was some update to pyload that was installed but I haven't been able to get
it working again since. That was about a month ago I think.

I have tried a couple of other hosters and while I can't verify the premium
works the accounts seem to add fine. It is only with the uploadgig plugin
that I get the message "none" in the plugin column of the accounts list and I cannot delete
the account using the web interface. The accounts config file looks fine
but the only way to delete the uploadgig account is to remove it manually
by deleting the data in the accounts config.

Do you have SSH access to the Zyxel 310 Nas? Maybe this is a permissions issue? |
Well, I thought that but why would the other account plugins work? I've not been able to get SSH access to work. |
I borrowed a friend's rapidgator credentials and I see it is not working with premium there either. I'm not getting a none on the plugin but it is not able to validate the credentials. INFO |
Well, we have to be able to SSH to see what is going on.. |
See https://youtu.be/qQWH_vtj_5Q |
I can telnet if that helps. The video is for a different NAS. Mine does not have the ssh setting. I have tried various methods posted on the net to enable ssh but none have worked. |
Can you start pyload from the telnet? |
I don't know. Starting and stopping from the zyxel web interface won't work? |
I wat to see if there are any exceptions occurs, Are you able to run commands like `ls -la from the telnet console? From where have you downloaded 0.4.9zypkg004 package? |
Here is the output from that command: ~ $ ls -la The original pyload package is installed from the package installer in the device's web interface. I then replaced the update manager from the stable pyload I got from github. I uninstalled pyload and done this process at least 5 times now always with the same result. |
Got to |
Thanks for all your help by the way. I really appreciate it. |
Now uninstall then reinstall pyload package, then issue the commands:
|
ls -la /i-data/07b224a6/admin/zy-pkgs/pyLoad/pyload |
**~ $ ls -la /i-data/07b224a6/admin/zy-pkgs/pyLoad/etc/pyload** |
OK, now stop pyload and then overwrite the files with
Start pyload and see if it works OK |
Sorry. Which files? |
replace it with the entire contents of the pyload stable zip downloaded into directory /i-data/07b224a6/admin/zy-pkgs/pyLoad/pyload |
Unfortunately, I still get plugin: none name:none when I add an uploadgig account. I cannot delete that account either. Rapidgator shows the correct plugin but does not recognize my premium account. |
What is the output of |
~ $ ps aux | grep python |
|
what is the output of
? |
~ $ /usr/local/zy-pkgs/bin/python2.6
|
what is the output of Is there and |
~ $ uname -a |
Nothing in the packages list. I don't understand why pyload was working on this nas with uploadgig for at least two years and suddenly stopped. The firmware hasn't been updated in that time. |
The problem is that you have: They cannot deal with nowdays SSL encryptions so cannot communicate with uploadgig |
Is there and |
Ah, I see. Looks like I have to download and try to install via a usb stick. I can give that a try today. Obviously, I'm not much good with terminal interfaces so hopefully I won't make a mess of it. |
Sorry, install what? |
It is not in the zyxel package manager |
👍 |
Hello, |
I think it installed. The instructions were just to start the bad with the
usb drive in place. I don't know how to tell if it was installed or not.

Start the nas with the usb in place. 🙄 |
Try running |
Unfortunately not.
|
maybe you should run |
~ $ /opt/bin/opkg |
What is the output of |
~ $ ls -la /opt |
~ $ ls / |
and
|
~ $ mkdir /opt |
I'm starting to think I should just save up for a current Qnap NAS. : / |
Probably. Is this your hardware https://www.zyxel.com/support/SupportLandingSR.shtml?c=gb&l=en&kbid=M-01816&md=NSA310S |
No just the plain 310. They no longer support the 310. |
Thanks for trying. |
OK, so I'm afraid that I cannot help you further with this: So I'm forced to close this issue. Good luck buying a new decent hardware. |
The uploadgig account plugin is not functioning correctly for me. When adding an account the interface dispalys "no plugin" and the account is not valid. See attached screenshot.
In addition the account config file is showing:
UploadgigCom:
I've not seen the @limitDL 0 before.
I'm happy to share my account info with someone who wants to try to fix this. Currently I'm unable to use my account with pyload at all.
