The proposed changes allow to use method Worksheet.insert_bitmap not only with files but also with StringIO objects, binaries or hex-encoded content of BMP file.

Sorry, but this approach won't work with Python 3 support. I don't want to see glob being used in this, and whatever solution is proposed would need to work with both python 2 and python 3. If you submit a new pull requests, please do so with a test or two too ;-) |
