Please consider to release this module under MIT or Apache2.0 licence since in lgpl the developers have to give the users the possibility to replace the module with their own compilated module. That is a showstopper for commercial applications.
I've talked to the major contributors and so far there is general agreement that switching to Apache 2.0 to MIT would be fine. We would need to do a more formal relicensing where everyone who has made a substantial contribution agrees. Is that something you would consider coordinating?
