Hello,
I'm translating library/random.po and at many occasions it's question of thread programming. I found that it should be translated by 'programmation par fil' but i've never heard it use orally before. In your minds hat is the good direction to follow?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think "fil d'exécution" would be the best choice for "thread".
And for expressions like "thread programming", it's sometimes better to keep their english form.

Or use words like "exétron", but nobody will understand 😄

According to

msgcat *.po */*.po | msgattrib --translated | grep --color=always -C5 thread | less -R

We translated thread by thread a lot of times, sometimes without putitng it in italics, sometimes using backticks (which is wrong).

I like "fil d'exécution", which is also proposed by the gdt.

I'm opening another issue about searching and replacing thread by fil d'exécution in already translated msgids.
