Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to add a new reader to satpy for IASI- L1 data. How/where can I find a sample YML file for other readers e.g. IASI-L2?

See https://github.com/pytroll/satpy/tree/main/satpy/etc/readers for all the built-in reader configuration files, and iasi_l2.yaml specifically for IASI L2 soundings.

I'm going to close this issue. I think with the existing YAML readers' files and the documentation on creating custom readers, you should be able to start your reader. Thanks for considering contributing.
