My antivirus warned me that qBittorent wanted to access %userprofile%\Favorites. Is this spyware?

My instinct guess is this is standard enumeration to build destination selection dialogs. You can monitor all of qBittorrent's disk and registry activities with the program Process Monitor by Microsoft Sysinternals. Always helps to have another set of eyes auditing this.

Of course not. It's a FOSS project with many eyes looking into it's code. You are free to look at it and submit improvements yourself.
