Suggestion

Have option to "Download in sequential order by default".

Use case

I set Windows explorer to sort by date modified by default, but for torrents I want to sort them by name which can be accomplished if I select "Download files sequentially" when I add torrrent, the problem is, I want this behavior by default, and there is no option for this.

Once again, no.

Just why? Option already exists when adding torrent, why can't qbittorrent have global option for this?

How files going to be sorted in explorer when you select "sort by date modified" (in Windows explorer):

Just why?

"Once again" was a hint for you to go search... It can potentially harm the swarm.
I can't believe you're using "Sequential order" for...sorting in file explorer!
You can enable Append .!qB extension to incomplete files and sort by Type.

In fact, no critical harm will come from it, we only have a theory that it could do harm. It's silly to dismiss it in favor of a theory when users need the feature (for a wide variety of purposes) and it's actually useful. IMO, the real pros far outweigh the possible cons in some absolutely isolated cases.

You could have added the option to set this feature as default a long time ago and forgotten about it #164
