Settings are lost on shutdown on Linux #959
Comments
Fixed in git master. It will be included in v3.1.0, which will be released this week. |
Thanks.. please do make sure that when the new version is released, its updated in Linux Mint PPA repository so all of us could update. Cheers. |
That's out of my control. |
I'm on 3.1.0 and this issue happened again for me, did a sudo shutdown -P +70, and on the next computer restart, qbittorrent had forgotten all settings and acted as if it was the first install (asking to agree to terms, etc) |
I'm on version 3.1.4. The issue is almost 100% reproduceable when run out of disk space. |
I can't do anything about that. |
same here, after shutdown -P, qbitorrent loses the settings, but not the backup ones |
Please try 3.1.5 it contains some new fixes regarding this. |
thank you, i didn't had the PPA added |
I'm on Linux Mint. Quite often, when I shut down my computer, all settings (e.g download folder, download speed, seed ratio, etc) are lost and reset to their default state. I have to re-configure all settings, only to lose them again randomly a few days later.
This seems to happen most often when I trigger a shutdown using sudo shutdown -P, a normal shutdown tends to work ok most of the time.
