WMS progress missing

WMS downloading progress is no longer shown on the status bar. I think it is important to bring it back, or anyway give the user a clue on what is happening.

As of 1c0ccb there is at least a busy indicator in the status bar.

Seems to work correctly in master branch when adding a WMS layer: for each resource access the busy indicator in the status bar reacts.
An issue to have a real progress bar should be labelled as FeatureRequest not as Bug.

The ticket is about the status bar, which is working for WMS layers, so closing as it seems fixed/implemented.
