Improve the advanced digitizing by angle

Advanced digitizing angle seems completely unusable.

The angle (sadly only in degrees...) is not from 0 to 359, but depends on the cursor position (its quadrant). In absolute mode, one should be able to use any angle modulo 360.

Another annoying thing is that 0 is not oriented on north as it could be (mapping needs to work with compass), but on the east. It should be an option.

Finally, angle could be clock oriented. It should be another option.

This options has been discussed years ago and could be added in QGIS. AFAIK, ArcGis propose a similar option

The really bad is that it depends on the mouse position :

With Advanced digitizing panel open, digitize one point at the screen center.
Move your cursor aroung the previous point : 0 is at the full east, -180 or 180 at the full west, OK.
Now, gives some 'D'istance and try to enter 0 in 'A'ngle. If the mouse is on the right, the next point is full west. If the mouse is on the left, the next point is full east. 'Relative' button has no effect.

For me, it's a bug, not a feature request...

I would like to see updates on the advanced digitizer as well. possibly angle options such as setting the 0 deg direction, allowing other angle options such as bearing (DMS). Maybe even allowing for entering a list of point coordinates.

I think having the option to use an azimuth (0-360) is required and useful enhancement and is also a normal way of users that do CAD work.

Recently in latest dev version it was added the bearing measuring tool which so I think it should work on the same way in which the values used/shown are the ones set up for the project properties bearing format

I just noticed today that bearing/azimuth value is provided in the floater based on the settings of the project, so maybe there is already a base that would allow to draw directly using the azimuth setting. At the moment I rely on an excel spreadsheet to do the conversion between azimuth and QGIS angles

@antoniolocandro azimuth is read only for now, but it would be a nice improvement indeed.
