What is the bug or the crash?

We sometimes face some annoying warnings on the end of validity of certificate of https://version.qgis.org/version.txt

This alert pop up to users.

Although we are on last valid day of the certificate :

  1. Open QGIS a day of ending validity of certificate

can confirm. even though qgis.org has a * certificate, a different one is used on version.gqis.org

Issue is fixée afaict

@DelazJ is this still happening? see #45377

@gioman I think that this #45011 and that #45377 are two distinct issue. The former, this one, was due to the expired digital ssl certificate of version.qgis.org and it was fixed renewing the certificate. The latter is about the digital certificate of the emitter (of the new digital ssl certificate of version.qgis.org) which seems to be missing in the local digital certificate file.
