I am not an informatician, just an intensive user of the amazing Qgis software, so please be kind if my proposal is very naïve.
Since Qgis 3.18, a new feature called dynamic SVG (SVGs containing values based on the attribute table) is available (see here => GitHub and the future documentation here =>12.2.2.2.5. Parametrizable SVG).
When a DXF file is exported from Qgis to a CAD tool, SVGs are exported into blocks. As expected, dynamic SVGs are also exported into blocks which, when exploded, render hatch objects.
The export of dynamic SVGs from Qgis to DXF file may offer some interesting possibilities for users who are regularly using Qgis and CAD-tools. Indeed, as blocks could embed attributes, we can imagine that export of data from Qgis with dynamic SVGs to DXF files could generate blocks which, when exploded, render either attribute definition objects or attribute objects for attributes.
Additional context
As Attribute Definition could be converted to Text or MText objects in CAD, this feature could help the transfer of stylized data from Qgis to CAD Tools, thus contributing to fill the gap between GIS and CAD users, which is the general trends and needs in engineering office.
As ogr2ogr manage data conversions in QGIS, I suppose that this new feature also needs to be addressed by ogr2ogr, am I right?
