What is the bug or the crash?

The template in the editor is with tabs, the editor works in spaces. Code written does not work without manual formatting

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Go to attribute form / python editor
  2. Add a new line at the end
  3. Add some code
  4. The spaces at the start of the line are highlighted as indentation problems

Versions

3.16 / master

Supported QGIS version

  • I'm running a supported QGIS version according to the roadmap.

New profile

  • I tried with a new QGIS profile

Additional context

I would suggest to adjust the template
