What is the bug or the crash?

When updating a virtual layer, it seems it it 'replaced' or when reopening the project the same uri might not be reused.

This leads to some wierd behaviour when the layer is used as an atlas layer.

When the layer is refreshed some settings might be disabled (controlled by geometry, use atlas, atlas layer) or other might be ignored (single file export when possible).

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Use a virtual layer as an atlas layer
  2. Update the query of the virtual layer

Versions

Tested on old 3.27, I doubt anything has fixed this.

Supported QGIS version

  • I'm running a supported QGIS version according to the roadmap.

New profile

  • I tried with a new QGIS profile
