Partyhaus is designed to allow a group of people to collaboratively build and play a custom playlist. Using Spotify's API, users can request songs they want to hear while attending a party. These requests are then prioritized by popularity. The more a song is requested, the higher up it moves in the queue. This live playlist is then sent to the party host's phone and played through their Spotify account, removing the need for designated DJ. This app is currently in development.
- Live-updating playlist
- Prioritized requests based of frequency
- Sign up through Spotify
- Custom party name for hosts
- Easy to share "party codes" for joining a party
- Set default playlist (pre-made playlist for when there are no requests)
- Control ratio of defualt playlist songs to requested songs
- Request any song availible on Spotify
If you notice a bug while using the app or have a feature request, please submit an issue. We are not currently looking for contributions to the development of the project.
