The Descriptio urbis Romae (ca. 1450), written by Leon Battista Alberti (1404–1472), explains how to create a map of then contemporary Rome. This homonymous application implements the given instructions and allows to draw Alberti's map according to the known manuscripts.

To run the program from source, a working installation of both git and npm is required.
npm comes bundled with Node.js (tested with the Long Term Support [LTS] release):

Next, clone the repository and install the required dependencies:
git clone https://github.com/qlat/Descriptio-urbis-Romae.git
cd Descriptio-urbis-Romae
npm install
Start the application by calling:
npm start
