The section in https://github.com/quantopian/trading_calendars#usage only shows part of the functionality. Between that and https://www.zipline.io/appendix.html#trading-calendar-api we don't actually have an example of usage anywhere.

We have a better quick start on the main README now, though we do need more detailed docs in the future.
