my activation hotkey stops working

I have my shortcut set to opt+R, and after a while of not using the computer (or when my laptop returns from sleep mode) my shortcut no longer brings up Quicksilver. I have the icon set to be visible in my menu bar, so if I select it, and "About" then my shortcut starts working again. Seeing it happen in both Lion and Mountain Lion. Using ver ß70 (3935) on both.

Although I think previous reports say it happens on login only. Is it possible that it's working, but invisible? Is this with a full screen app, or any time?

I had "Hide" ticked for Quicksilver in my login prefs pane. I'll try unticking that and see if it helps.

Good question, I'll try typing something and hitting enter next time it happens to see if it's just there but invisible. Nope, not specific to a full screen app, just seeing it any time.
