The application loads, but I cannot open any windows.

Hmm, it seemed to just be taking a long time because it appeared to be running commands from my history (possibly bash history or vim history). What's up with that?

That's strange. I can only test it on two systems

  • MBA with 10.9.3
  • virtual 10.9.3 on Parallels with no extra software installed (other than Xcode an JDK)
    and I cannot reproduce that behavior. Can you send me your vimrc? I have no idea where the problem lies, so I could start by trying out your vimrc...
