Timer and lock screen problem

The Alarm Clock works as expected. Screen goes on and stays on, playing Alarm-sound. Slide to disable or snooze.

When the Timer ends, the screen don't wake up (or sometimes only for 2-3 seconds, then shuts down again) while the timer-alarm-sound is playing.
I then have to manually wake the phone (again), sometimes it's active on the lock screen and i can double tab the timer notification and end it there, other times i have to fill in PIN, go to the upper left corner, select the timer and shut it off.

I don't understand what you mean with "does the alarm clock work when the phone is off?"
Do you mean to set an alarm and reboot, or when the screen is off?
When screen is off the "Alarm" is working, "Timer" not so much.
The stock google clock was also working as expected.
Your "Aospdeskclock" works fine, only problem seems to be with the "Timer".

Ok, in the next few days as soon as I have some free time I will try to bring the other app to fdroid as well. I was just asking you to install the apk of the other app to check if the "timer" section gave you the same bug.

As for the other thing, when you have time, do this test: Set an alarm in 10 minutes, then after setting the alarm turn off your phone. The phone should automatically turn on again at the time you set the alarm and then check that the alarm sounds. This feature is called “power off alarm” and it only works on phones with snapdragon processor.

Lol, i didn't know about the "power off alarm", but it works!
I also tried the "Timer" with shutdown phone but that didn't work.

ok this is the only app you will find on fdroid with this function and I'm glad it works on your device. However "power off alarm" only works with the alarm clock, with the timer it does not work is normal.

I was surprised that the "Alarm" had such a feature, so i had to try it for the "Timer" too :D
