It would be great if there was a way either in revdepcheck or rcmdcheck to set check parameters. I would like to run revdep checks on a machine without latex, so I need: CMD check:
--no-manual --no-build-vignettes
Note that this still tests the vignette R code, it just doesn't render the final html / pdf. I think this makes sense, latex/pandoc rendering problems are always false positives due to missing latex packages. It is very unlikely a result of changes in dependencies.
