GetDown Classic is a standalone HTTP download utility for MacOS 7.0 and up, built as a 68020 binary. It supports both MacTCP and OpenTransport, and unencrypted HTTP 1.1.
The Thread Manager Extension is required when running the application on System 7.0 & 7.1. System 7.5 and up include Thread Manager, which can be downloaded from Apple at http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/Other_System/Thread_Manager_2.0.1.sea.bin

GetDown Classic is built with CodeWarrior 5. It may or may not compile with any other version.
