I've got a few sites that's been running feedwordpress for 2-3 years and I noticed a lot of old data in the database. First of all, feedwordpress seems to leave revisions behind in the wp_posts database. These are relatively easy to get rid of, but the wp_postmeta is growing to a ridiculous size over time and I suspect this does slow down updates. I understand why feedwordpress need to store data to avoid duplicates, but my question is really what data can be safely cleaned out.
