## what is RadonDB?

RadonDB is based MySQL,but add more next generation feature such as distributed,unlimted scale out,support distributed transaction, and compatible with the MySQL protocol.
RadonDB is a cloud-native database based on MySQL,and architected in fully distributed cluster that enable unlimited scalability (scale-out), capacity and performance. It supported distributed transaction that ensure high data consistency, and leveraged MySQL as storage engine for trusted data reliability. RadonDB is compatible with MySQL protocol, and sup-porting automatic table sharding as well as batch of automation feature for simplifying the maintenance and operation workflow.

* **Automatic shard table**: automatically shards (partitions) tables across nodes, enabling databases to scale horizontally on low cost,Sharding is entirely transparent to the application which is able to connect to any node in the cluster and have queries automatically access the correct shards.
* **support distributed transaction**: support distributed transaction across partitions,implementation Atomicity,Consistency,Isolation,Durability (ACID)for transaction completely.
* **Automatic data compression**: DBA selected TokuDB storage engine when partition MySQL,Will automatically achieve high-rate data compression,The storage space utilization is increased by 50%, which greatly saves storage space and IO overhead, and further optimizes service performance.
