About The Project

screenshot1

This project is meant to be a way to take it back to the good ol days. The days where you picked out a dvd from the box, put it in the blu ray machine and enjoyed the evening.

Nowdays you have to pay for Netflix and Amazon and Hulu and HBO and and and...

All the while, you still have all of the movies that you bought on disk from the late 90s through early 2010s.

This application will allow you to upload all of those movies to your own server, where you can stream the movies from yourself.

Usage

The App is intended to be used the same way you would use netflix. It is however going to be using a computer (laptop, desktop or even Raspberry Pi) within your home network to save movies to and strema movies from.

That means you will need to spend a little bit of time configuring the "Backend" service to the mobile, desktop and web apps.

For more examples, please refer to the Documentation
