Unable to import bookmarks from HTML

Can't import bookmarkes

1. I have a bookmarks.html file I exported through Google takeout.
2. The file works fine and successfully imports into other browsers.
3. When I try uploading it through the import option on raindrop.io webpage and upload the HTML file, I get an error that says invalid. That doesn't help.
4. Changing files did not change behavior.
5. I haven't encountered this issue before.
6. Using Chrome on Android for the upload (as always).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am experiencing the same situation. I can't get it to work with edge or chrome.

It seems to be a bug, I have the same problem.

I'm wondering whether it is just HTML or all formats across the board.
