It seems to be working for me. Once connection is established it automatically retrieves the entities. I wonder whether it is something to locale, as I am using only English. I uninstalled and reinstalled the tool just to be sure that I am using the version published on Nuget. All the old versions are on Nuget (https://www.nuget.org/packages/Ryr.XrmToolBox.ExportToExcel/). So, you can try with the old version to see if that once works. What happens if you click the "Load Entities" button? |
I’ll try changing locale, but I’ve been using it with México locale for years. I also tried on another computer from scratch same locale with same results. What happens when I click Load entities is it “looks like” it’s loading but the entities list ends up empty. It also won’t let me edit a blank fetchxml code, the text area just doesn’t allow me to write anything, and at the tab title it says Not connected. I also use FetchXML builder, and it also updated 2 days ago and stopped working with a crash fest. It loads entities but every click it’s an unhandled exception. i am getting the work done for now with SQL4CDS with no issues, problem is I have to rewrite everything. |
Same issue here. Locale is US. Click load entities and loads empty entities. |
Same issue here with MS CRM 2015. With MS Dynamics CRM 365 no problem. |
I've reported this issue back in Nov 2021, issue #25 , I have been trying but have been unable to get to work even on fresh installation. rollback does not work either as error with EPPlus prevents you from actually exporting any data. |
@MEPVIC - I am unable to repro this with the online version and I don't have access to older OnPrem version of CRM. Are you also having issue with only the older version of CRM? |

What is the process to install older version of plugin? |
You can go to https://www.nuget.org/packages/Ryr.XrmToolBox.ExportToExcel/ and download the old versions. You should then be able to copy it to XrmToolBox Plugin folder. You can get the path from XrmToolBox.
