Issues

Generated files: sprites image and font files, may make unnecessary commits on Git.
Sprites / fonts won't be regenerated when user updates gulp plugins.

Solution

Exclude generated files from Git.
Sprites / fonts should always be regenerated when "build" or "serve" runs.
