Generic structure for a teaching module.

I am trying to put down what I think are the various components of a self-contained teaching module. Although, the ideas summarized here might be applicable outside of statistics, my objective is to state it for statistics.

Let me start by writing up a laundry list of different components along with a short description

Component	Description
Motivation	An interesting story to engage students in a discussion
Activity	A guided exercise to lead students along a path of exploration
Lecture	A structured introduction to the key concepts explored
