At Wasmer we are using xterm.js to display the content in https://webassembly.sh/
We'd love to trial rio in the browser!

What's the status of it?

Hey @syrusakbary haven't start to port everything yet besides a quick test last month, but still have to finish the tier one of functionalities and decouple the renderer to serve wasm directly.

In https://webassembly.sh/ what's the scope and usage of the term? Is the basic instructions of ANSI terminal emulation?

btw, big fan of wasmer ⭐

Ah I just took a look on https://github.com/wasmerio/webassembly.sh
Yes, I do think is possible to use Rio there. I plan to work in the WASM support once all basic functionalities are done (is a near future). Will update this thread when have any news regarding it.

Just saw that this is in progress in the latest release of Rio:
https://raphamorim.io/rio/release-0.0.7/

Excited to see Rio running in the browsers soon. I can't wait it to use it on https://wasmer.sh ! :)
