This project started as a small library for the students. It was part of my PhD thesis. Since then (2010) it went a huge way and became a framework. The only thing that prevents its mass use is that it is written using the Slovak language (not just the documentation, but each identifier – classes, methods, attributes…). This is due to its original purpose: teaching programming… The decision was one of the results of the pre-research to PhD work. I don’t regret it fully, but it would better find its wider use when it would be in English. There is an option, however, a very complicated one. I could develop an automatic translation module for all GRobot’s source codes… I am considering this option for years, but it would consume a big (huge) portion of effort (time, energy, resources, everything)…
Tento projekt sa začal ako malá knižnica pre študentov. Bola to súčasť mojej dizertačnej práce. Odvtedy (2010) prešiel dlhú cestu a stal sa programovacím rámcom. Jedinou vecou, ktorá zabraňuje jeho hromadnému použitiu, je to, že je napísaný s pomocou slovenského jazyka (nielen dokumentácia, ale každý identifikátor – triedy, metódy, atribúty…). Je to z dôvodu jeho pôvodného účelu: vyučovanie programovania… Rozhodnutie bolo jedným z výsledkov predbežného výskumu dizertačnej práce. Neľutujem úplne toto rozhodnutie, ale lepšie by bolo (bol by širšie využiteľný), keby bol zdrojový kód napísaný v angličtine. Je tu však jedna možnosť, síce veľmi zložitá, ale je. Mohol by som vytvoriť automatický prekladací modul pre všetky zdrojové kódy rámca GRobot… Túto možnosť zvažujem (a nenápadne odkladám) už roky, pretože by spotrebovala obrovské množstvo zdrojov (čas, energiu, všetko)…
