From Robin via customer support:

Steps in the video:

  1. Sign in through browser successfully using the password.
  2. Try signing in to the app using the same password, but fails.

Feel free to let me know if you need any assistance with further debugging or more info on reproducing the issue or if you like to get on a video call.
It's 100% reproducible, at least on my S21+ , Android 13 device.

Hi @sammyd I'm having difficulties reproducing the issue. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. Below was the output presented here. Can you also confirm if, after signing in, you wait for some seconds on the login screen to what it shows?

From what I observed, if you wait for some seconds it eventually signs up successfully. Here is my output on my device.

Thanks for taking a look. I'm not too sure about this—I've not managed to recreate it myself.

I'll go back to the support ticket and see whether I can get the reporter to come and look at this ticket to give some additional feedback. The only thing I know has been an issue before is the default browser.

I'd also be interested in knowing why it flashes the login screen again, or more importantly, can we stop that and replace it with some kind of spinner?

That will be very much helpful. In regards to re-opening the login screen that shouldn't happen though i haven't looked at the code yet but a spinner or something else will be much better.

Any comments here from the reporter?

Hello @sammyd , I'm the reporter of the issue.
There is difference in the two videos. When I clicked, you can see, it does go into raywenderlich domain momentarily which doesn't happen in the 2nd video.
My account was created more than 3 years ago while website was still with raywenderlich, hope that's some clue.

Hi @robinjohn thanks for dropping in! I don't think that the fact your account is old should have any issues. @KelvnPere are you able to help diagnose the issue here? Thanks!
