Does the GUI installation need the .Net Runtimes installed?

No, the GUI is completely "stand-alone". Simply run the install file for your platform and it should work.

How do I install the correct .Net Runtimes for the CLI?

Refer to the Windows, MacOSX, and Linux pages in this section before trying these links.

Microsoft Docs contain all the information you will need to get the proper .Net Runtimes installed. Click on your platform to be taken to the correct Microsoft Docs Page.

What if my Platform is not supported?

If you need a particular binary that is not yet listed, either submit an issue via the Issues page or clone the repo and build your own binary.

Will this run on older versions of Windows?

Maybe, but it will not be supported. Any issues submitted regarding older versions of Windows will be closed.
