Terry Pratchett is an English author best known for his comical fantasy series set on the Discworld. He was the UK's best-selling author of the 1990s and has been knighted for services to literature. As an amateur astronomer and natural history enthusiast, Pratchett often includes science jokes in his books and has written four popular science books with mathematician Ian Stewart and biologist Jack Cohen.
