This is how I test locally:
In iconBase.tsx if I pass title like this

export function GenIcon(data: IconTree) {
  return (props: IconBaseProps) => (
    <IconBase attr={{...data.attr}} title='This is title' {...props}>
      {Tree2Element(data.child)}
    </IconBase>
  );
}

And do yarn build in preview folder. Then, yarn start. I see the <title> rendered like the one below which seems correct for me.

IconContext / DefaultContext has been edited but not consumed. This change may not be necessary.

I use this method.

yarn
cd packages/react-icons
# edit source codes
yarn build
cd ../demo
yarn start
