Refit needs a logo/icon for the NuGet feed/package #135
Comments
Not sure - the Retrofit library doesn't have a logo, so we can't copy it :( |
We could lift a logo from http://thenounproject.com/search/?q=lazy as long as the README.md is attributed similar to how Fody does it @ https://github.com/Fody/Fody/blob/master/README.md I like these two: or ❓ |
That's got a lot goin' on. Lemme see what I can do. |
Those are kind of wacky and complicated for a logo, aren't they? It's maybe not that original, but what about something like this: If the license allowed modification, we could change the left hand part to be a lighter colour (implying the automatic nature of Refit). Wouldn't be too hard to whip up something similar if licensing is a problem. |
Let's go with the Green, to match Retrofit. Also, this is so great! Thanks a ton @hougasian |
oh snap I was literally just about to tweet about this. Nice @hougasian. Send in the PR to https://github.com/paulcbetts/refit/blob/master/Directory.build.props |
The SVG was merged in, now just need to generate assets for the package |
@hougasian was kind enough to make us a logo, over a year ago, but we never actually did anything with it. This change adds it to the README and to the NuGet packages (which was originally the intention). This will close #135.
Better late than never, eh? 😹 |
It's a shame that NuGet doesn't support GIFs as this how working on a project that uses Refit makes me feel:
/cc: @paulcbetts (What should the logo be?)
