Media overlays is the EPUB term for "talking books" or "read aloud", i.e. the synchronisation of a text with recorded (or synthetic) audio.

The streamer will parse Media Overlay SMIL files referenced in the Package Document.
Parsed information will generate a tree-like structure that can be serialized as JSON.
