What steps will reproduce the problem? I have tried various setups (having the "record" variation of the same shortcut set as my default record key and Play/stop (automatically group simultaneously recorded items) set as the default stop. And also tried having the standard record instead. I simply can't get Play/Stop (automatically group simultaneously recorded items) to work at all. I see other users experiencing the same problem. See here: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=115776 What is the expected output?
Tracks i record at the same time to group
What do you see instead?
They are not grouped.
It is of note that the record variation does work on the same system.
What version of SWS extension are you using? (Extensions -> About SWS...)
2.3.0 What is your Reaper version number and CPU architecture (e.g. Reaper 3.75 x64)? 4.402 What operating system are you running? (e.g. Windows XP/7, OSX 10.5.8 etc, 64bit?) OSX 10.6.8
Currently for this feature to work you need to be in "tape mode" or "layers" in the Options->New recording that overlaps existing items menu. Things get really messy fast in the default takes mode when dealing with grouping.
