Main Overview

This release contains information on the returns of United States House elections from 1976-2018. There's data for each county in the United States, how many votes were cast on a candidate who represented their political party (i.e. Democrat, Republican, etc.), and total votes for each county. Included in this data is also various information on each county.

The included data is provided by Harvard Dataverse, which contains almost 100,000 datasets on various subjects. This specific dataset is maintained by the MIT Election Data and Science Lab (MEDSL). Data Source

This resource is presented in the CSV format. The dataset includes a codebook in which there is information on each column and the source.
