The INFO commandstats reports the client command
cmd_client
this covers all theCLIENT
calls. Far be it for me to suggestion that additional cardinality be added to the already TOO MUCH CARDINALITY metric space. However I think it would be beneficial to extend to the commandstats functionality to also track eachCLIENT
method as well.Similar to how the commandstats for the
TS
methods is handled e.g.cmdstat_ts.get
,cmdstat_ts.add
,cmdstat_ts.range
, etc.Something like:
I think that this could be beneficial at a deep level in helping to debug when and what method in a
CLIENT
calls fail, e.g.CLIENT SETINFO
. However arguablycmdstat_client
would only count a failed_call if the entireCLIENT
fails rather than reporting a fail if only one method fails but theCLIENT
command ultimately succeeds, leaving the count of each method to record whether theCLIENT <METHOD>
fails.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
