When ever i try updating from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4, it doesn't actually update it just keeps telling me i have to update, as the currently installed version is 1.2.3. I have tried removing it from the WordPress admin panel and adding back and also tried removing the stein-kit folder with sftp and adding it that way. Both result in the same problem. I have also check all my server permissions and all are set correctly.
I look forward to your reply

You forgot to change the version number in stein-kit.php resulting in a conflict. The theme is expecting a version number of 1.2.4 but was always receiving 1.2.3. Though the update was being successful, without the change in version number, it would never register that the update had completed successfully. Hopefully this helps someone with a similar problem.
