Nodes already have some notion as to auxiliary Nodes that belong to them.
See here

These auxiliary Nodes can be created to represent many things including index files for bams etc.

Since we now have a mechanism to expose extra Node meta info to VisualizationTools with #2203 we could utilize this to provide index files to visualizations like IGV much easier than before.
