After talking about the upcoming meta data revision changes we've realized that there are some constraints that should be checked before a DataSet's metadata or data files can be edited.

Constraints that should disallow such a meta data / datafile revision are:

  • if any Analyses have been run
  • if any Visualizations have been launched
  • ...

General note: I'm not sure how this should work if a scenario like: #2292 arises. i.e. a specific version of a DataSet could be "clean", but prior versions could have Analyses associated
