Is it possible to incorporate the mapping tool (mapfix) so that people use it in the refugee-transit? For secret information and send it to another person? Save information of people with each other when, for example, a border is open and still are no cops there..

I'm definitely looking into using it partially for the backend side (the Drupal site) for editing point-of-interest location data. Existing Drupal plugins are a bit disappointing.

I have sent an email to one of Mapfix yesterday but haven't got an answer yet...
To reference a point on the map and send that point to someone, a simple "Copy Point-Info to Clipboard"-Feature could help. After clicking the button you can just paste the point-info into WhatsApp, Email etc, write your notes and send it to a friend.

What exactly do you need from mapfix? Extracting the coordinates? Not really understanding how mapfix could relate to this project (yet).

Mapfix is looking for a backend (refugeehackathon/mapfix#11).
At the moment I am trying to create a simple alternative backend, which implements a Restful-API, some forms for creating templates for different types of points and forms for creating points on a map using these templates...
