Asset Merge and Compress v1.0

This is a script that merges imported stylesheets and compresses them using the YUI Compressor.

Why use?

• You can keep your stylesheets organized during development by separating out modules into their own files.
• You can serve users much fewer files, reducing the number of HTTP requests and their resulting lag time.
• You can serve user smaller files (for faster downloads), since they'll be compressed using Yahoo!'s YUI Compressor.
• You don't have to install/setup LESS, SCSS, or SASS (especially helpful for small projects).

How to use

• Download the file 'asset_merge_and_compress.sh'.
• Place that file on your webserver (maybe in the same directory that you place your CSS files).
• Make sure the script is executable (e.g. "chmod +x asset_merge_and_compress.sh").
• Run the script, calling the "main" function and passing in the path to a CSS file (e.g. "./asset_merge_and_compress.sh main ../css/application.css").
• Update your the of your pages to point to the compressed files (e.g. "application.css" becomes "application.min.css")
