The SWCPA is a non-profit organization providing technical expertise, training, and professional networking opportunities to our members as well as to state and local agencies. Student Research Apprentice Collaborator @ California State Polytechnic University-Pomona (July 2018 - August 2018)
- Supervised and mentored a team of STEM students participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. The team performed a bench-scale experiment in the hydraulics laboratory to determine the removal efficiency of an advanced oxidation process (AOP) based on UV irradiation combined with hydrogen peroxide (UV/H2O2) degradation of trace organic compounds in wastewater.
