This release includes some bug fixes, a new parameter (for the GUI) and clarifications:
- Using the connectivity as spatial dependecies method with an edge list with type now actually averages the multiple types.
- Number of annealing iterations is now an easily modifiable parameter (See #69).
- The warning about default applications to customize input.dat has been clarified

Bug fix that allows the Mac OS version to work without previous installations of python

Second Public Beta Release
This version is a massive update to the interface and backend of Marxan Connect. Major changes include:
- The "Pre-Evaluation" and "Run Marxan" tabs have been overhauled and clarified.
- The GUI has a new tab "Marxan Files" for better file management
- The functional part of Marxan Connect has been separated into a standalone python package marxanconpy
- Better step-by-step tutorials
- A working mac OS version
- So many bug fixes!
Public Beta Release
This is the first public beta release of Marxan Connect. It contains all the planned functionality for the official release. The intention for this version is to demonstrate the app and test for bugs. However, some functionality is still missing:

- Connectivity metric vs data source linkage (some metrics should not be calculated using certain data)
- Connectivity metric definitions, equations, possible objectives, and figure
- Distinction between Self-recruitment and local retention
- Python module autonomy (command line workflow)
