I would honestly prefer to draw the line on having companies that hire remotely and not job boards, because their page lists specific jobs and it'll mutate through time, not guaranteeing that it will always include full remote Spanish jobs. If Manfred themselves hired remotely we could add them though 😁 |
I would use Manfred as a source to know more companies that hire remotely with Spanish contracts, i.e. Factorial has an offer with FULL REMOTE, so I understand that this company could be on the list. I agree with @uesteibar and I wouldn't add Manfred, as other job boards/agencies/recruiters would like to be here as well |
Yes, I share similar concerns, that's why I wanted to do some research and get your opinion (that's also why I wanted to have three maintainers). My reason for including Manfred are basically: They state clearly which offers are full remote. "Spanish contract" is not so clear, but I think it's acceptable. That alone differentiates them from any other job listing I've found, such as LinkedIn, Angel, InfoJobs, etc., which are extremely inefficient in finding truly remote jobs (searching for remote leads to "occasional remote" positions, which is a waste of time IMHO). So I think that any job listing where you can easily filter for full remote positions and Spanish contract is a worthwhile addition to the list- it's more useful to have them than not having them; they are clearly marked as a recruiting agency and anyone can visit their page, ctrl+f full remote and get up-to-date offers. This would be different from any other recruiting agency/job board that I know- and if some other job listing had this property, I think it would be worthwhile to include them too. Also, we can easily discard any job listing/etc. which does not explicitly classify fully remote AND Spanish contract positions. Still, I'm hesitant to add them. It makes me uneasy- I think exactly the same that happens to you. But if I try to be objective, I don't really see a reason not to add them. Think about it. As I have the same doubts of you (I'm only making the opposite case), if you don't change opinion it's perfectly fine (and it's 2-1, so I'll close the PR). |
I think it's fine to keep it in |
Kinda forgot about this, waiting to see if @uesteibar had something to add- as I'm still not 100% on this, I'd like to see what he thinks about what I said. |
I think I'm OK with adding it in a separate section, however I'm still somehow reluctant. I propose we move forward with this and rollback if it becomes problematic in any way. |
It's already in a separate section, so merging |
I asked Manfred about their offers page in the following discussion:

It does seem that their job listing lists clearly remote offers with Spanish contracts, so we could add them. Opening this as a PR for review because I'm not sure it's a good idea to include it.
Thoughts?
